A few months ago I finished spinning this ball of yarn and I finally cast on a seed stitch scarf with it.
The weather's starting to cool off, and I'm realizing I need some more wintery clothes! Not that I don't already have a zillion scarves, hats, and mittens, but one can never have too many.
This will be my very first project that I've knit with a handspun ball of yarn, and even better, a ball of yarn I've spun myself! Pictures to come soon!

varigated seed stitch scarf
Just yesterday I finished knitting this scarf up - used exactly 1 skein of TLC Essentials, with nothing left over! I cast on 19 stitches, did a seed stitch throughout, which made this zig zag pattern throughout - I did about 5 inches with 20 stitches cast on, but wasn't crazy about the checkerboard pattern that came out, so with one stitch less, the zig zag is created.I'm debating whether to put a fringe on this or not, it may be cool. I've got an idea to make 'curly' fringes, but I'll save that idea/project for another day.
